When I was 11 or 12 my Aunt Marijana put in my hands a copy of Charles Bukowski's Women. My parents had always encouraged, nay, demanded that reading take precedence over any other activity and instilled a deep love for it within me, and while they provided me with challenging and fantastic titles to read it was this book that introduced me to something I had never encountered before.
Possibly I was a smidgen to young to start tackling his works but I was never shielded before and that moment stands out in my memories and I'm sure it will be a part of the "THIS IS YOUR LIFE" instant replay at the end of it.
Who inspires you?
