Rad

I was totally born in the wrong decade. How cool are these kids.

*ed note*
So when I posted this Donny and I were in a Blog or Die battle as to who could get these pics up first, hence the reason why my commentary was kept to a minimum. Now that I was declared victorious I can say

HOW FUCKING COOL ARE THESE KIDS???!!!!
I don't care what you are doing now but please, please, please call me. I need to hear stories about how awesome and hot you were in the only decade that mattered.

Logan's Fun Run

Logan's Run is one of my favorite movies of all time. It is pure faux-future perfection in every way. I used to like it a lot more but since I'm getting nearer and nearer to the crystal turning red (it's not red yet, a very light pink if anything....) I've become somewhat miffed. Oh, who am I kidding....it is a cinematic masterpiece without compare and Micheal York is a total babe.

That being said, not only is the story line super believable and deeply poignant *clears throat* the styling is outa this world.

And how foxy does Farrah look? She is such perfection it almost pains me.

Not cool man

First things first, I will not start this post with the words "I would like to...." I just reread my last two posts and realized I used that phrase 3 times in about 4 sentences. Don't judge me, I was 3 vodka-soda's in for the evening.

Alright, moving right along. Music can usually be summed up into 3 catagories
1) awesome party time.
2) falling/being in love
3) broken heart/shitty BF's and GF's

Now I'm not saying there isnt a plethora of subject matter out there ranging political (hellooooo Crass) to downright absurd,

(please watch this, I am willing to bet you will freak out from happiness after)
it's just that the majority of tuneage came be plunked into those specifications.

Now, this is where I get to the point, below are some of my favorite "you're a dick/bitch" songs.

Descendants- Clean Sheets

Carly Simon- You're So Vain

Hall and Oates- Rich Girl

Supertramp- Breakfast in America (also known as "girlfriend)

And for when you feel bad about singing all that shit talk

Thin Lizzy- Running Back

Style Assault

I would like to introduce you to a new feature here at The Unicorner called Style Assault, here we will examine the awesome style and attitude of some of music, film, and histories most bitchin rebel rousers.

For our innaugural Style Assault post I would like to present The Hardcore Sax Guy from Lost Boys!

Now, this movie resonates in the hearts of many people and who among you can say you don't totally believe right along with H.C.S.G (I'm not typing out Hard Core Sax Guy again...shit...I just did)

Not only are his moves hypnotic his style is so right on it makes me rethink my own clothing arsenol.

For those who haven't seen Lost Boys (blasphemy!) or for those that don't remember (impossible!) please view below

i would like to point out the jerks at youtube have disabled all videos with the song AND the dance moves so here is an audio of what he is supposed to be singing to in the above video. it kinda ruins the moment but you get the picture

A few choice screen caps

Hot right? Now, let me present how to make this haute couture runway look suitable for everyday

subtle is my middle name.

so tomorrow morning, when you are getting dressed and you catch yourself reaching for your old faithful whatever it is you like to wear everyday think of H.C.S.G and throw a saxaphone on your back, or like 20-30 belts. It will improve your out look on life, and who knows by the end of the day you might be a believer too.
